HUMAN EYE

 Human eye:

HUMAN EYE
HUMAN EYE

The human eye that plays an important role in our ability to see the world around us. The human eye and really complex. It is made up of several component such as retina, pupil, lens, iris and cornea. The eye consists of 3 coats of layers sclerotic, retina, and choroid.

Sclerotic:

Sclerotic is the outer white tough, muscular layer of the eye called sclera.

Cornea:

The outermost layer of cornea is clear and the function of these layer that help to refract light and protect the eye.

Iris:

The iris is under the cornea. The iris that play an important role in eye that control the size of the pupil.

Pupil:

Pupil that play an important role in eye that allows light to enter the eye. Pupil is the black circular opening and appeared in the center of iris.

Retina:

The retina is made of sensory cell and the images formed on the retina. The eye boll is retina and the retina appear the innermost layer of eye.  The lens that changes shape to focus light and the lens is a flexible structure in the retina and which layer is made up of specialized cells that convert light into electrical signals that help us and sent the signal        to the brain and create visual images.

The eyes are really good that are adjusting to different lighting conditions, and these changes we can see levels of brightness and   a wide range of colors. The eye can suffer from a variety of diseases such as farsightedness, astigmatism and nearsightedness these diseases that suffer to vision the images and the creation of these problem because the eye are not perfect. That can cure these problem Regular eye exams and proper eye care can help to ensure that our eyes stay healthy and function properly throughout our lives.

Receptor in the Human body:

You now know well that receptors are the organs that receive the changes taking place in our environment. In the human body, many types of receptors perform different functions.

Photoreceptors: which perceive light e.g. eyes.

Sonoreceptors: which perceive sound waves e.g. ears.

Chemoreceptors: these perceive different chemicals like a tongue.

Mechanical receptors: which perceive pressure primarily found in the skin.

Photoreceptor

The Photoreceptors are made up of specialized cells and present in the retina of the eye that are responsible for detecting light and sent that information to the brain. There are two types are found. Rods are more numerous than cones and that are responsible for detecting light in low light conditions. Cones, are responsible for detecting color and are more concentrated in the central part of the retina and the cones are on the other hand.

For each photoreceptor covers a pigment called rhodopsin, photoreceptor which is made up of a protein called opsin and the photoreceptor contain a molecule called retinal. When light entering the eye, it is engaged by the rhodopsin and these changes causing a chemical reaction that ultimately send to the spread of a neural signal to the brain. The brain then takes this signal and create as a perfect image

Photoreceptors can be artificial by a diversity of causes, including disease, age and injury. When photoreceptors are damaged or misplaced, in this case that the result in vision loss or blindness.  All the Researchers are currently exploring ways or ideas to redevelop or replacing damaged photoreceptors to give back vision in persons with visualization loss.

The function of the human eye:

The human eye is an amazing organ that plays a key role in our ability to see the vision around us. It is the most important function is to detect light and these light convert it into electrical signals that can be spread to the brain, and the brain are taken as images.

The human eye is made up of numerous parts that work combine to complete this job. The 1st part is the cornea, and the cornea which is the clear and found in dome-shaped surface that covers the area in the front of the eye. The cornea helps us to focus entering light against the lens, which sits behindhand it.

The lens is a flexible and transparent structure that changes shape of the present item to adjust the focus of incoming light which found in the lens. This changes to see the object at various distances with clearness.
